Location: Remote (US) with travel to customers and industry events
OTE: $300,000 ($150,000 base + commission)

We are expanding aggressively into grocery and convenience retail and are looking for a senior seller who already knows this market and can accelerate growth immediately.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are hiring a Head of Grocery Sales to lead our grocery and convenience store sales expansion. This role is designed for a hunter who thrives in early-stage, high-growth environments and already has relationships across grocery retail leadership.

You will own the full enterprise sales cycle and help shape our go-to-market strategy in one of our highest-priority segments.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO

Enterprise Sales

- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for grocery and convenience retail customers

- Sell into Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Operations, Security, and Finance leaders

- Close mid-market and enterprise deals ranging from pilots to multi-million ARR rollouts

- Build pipeline through outbound, events, referrals, and industry relationships

Strategic Market Development

- Help define and execute the grocery GTM strategy

- Provide feedback to product and leadership based on customer needs

- Represent Panoptyc at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings

Revenue Ownership

- Hit and exceed aggressive revenue targets

- Build repeatable pipeline and forecasting processes

- Help build the foundation of a future grocery sales team

- Voice of the Customer - listen to customers pain points and jobs to be done, translate those into outcomes for the product and development teams

Must-Have Experience

- 7+ years selling to grocers

- Nice to have is selling to convenience or other types of retail

- Experience selling to:

- Operations

- Finance or Executive leadership

- Experience selling security or loss prevention product

- Track record of closing $500Kโ€“$3M+ ARR deals

- Existing relationships within grocery retail and/or loss prevention leadership

Preferred Background

- Experience selling one or more of the following:

- Retail technology

- Loss prevention / security solutions

- Computer vision or AI

- Video, POS, or analytics platforms

- Experience working in a startup or high-growth company

- Hungry, fast-moving, and highly competitive

- Obsessive about winning and beating quota

- High ownership and accountability

- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and speed

COMPENSATION

- Base: $150,000

- OTE: $300,000+ (uncapped commission)
