About the role:
As the Sr. Community & Influencer Manager, you will be the voice and face of Tempo across our ecosystem of partners, customers, and industry thought leaders. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, your primary focus will be driving Tempo's webinar program in partnership with our Systems Integrators and Channel Partners, as well as securing high-visibility placements for Tempo executives on leading industry podcasts and video shows. Beyond these core priorities, you will own our community engagement strategy, build relationships with key influencers and media partners, and amplify Tempo's presence across digital channels and events.
This is a highly visible, cross-functional role that blends partner marketing, executive communications, community management, public relations, and business development. You'll be instrumental in shaping how the market perceives Tempo and driving awareness among enterprise decision-makers. What you’ll do:
Webinar Program Management (30%)
- Own end-to-end management of Tempo's bi-weekly webinar program, collaborating closely with Partner Marketing to feature Systems Integrators (SIs) and Channel Partners
- Develop and maintain the webinar calendar, coordinating schedules with partners and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent programming
- Drive webinar strategy including topic selection, speaker recruitment, content development, and audience targeting
- Host and moderate webinars with confidence and polish, ensuring an engaging experience for attendees
- Manage all webinar logistics including platform setup, rehearsals, promotion, and day-of execution
- Analyze webinar performance metrics (registrations, attendance, engagement, pipeline influence) and continuously optimize the program
- Repurpose webinar content into blog posts, social clips, and other assets to extend reach and value
Executive Thought Leadership & Podcast Placements (30%)
- Develop and execute a strategic program to secure Tempo executive placements on high-profile industry podcasts, video casts, and live streams
- Research and build a target list of relevant podcasts, YouTube channels, LinkedIn Live shows, and other audio/video platforms in the Atlassian ecosystem, project management, enterprise software, and business leadership spaces
- Cultivate relationships with podcast hosts, producers, and content creators to create ongoing placement opportunities
- Craft compelling pitches and talking points tailored to each show's audience and format
- Prepare executives for appearances with briefing documents, key messages, and media coaching as needed
- Coordinate all logistics for podcast and video appearances including scheduling, technical requirements, and follow-up
- Track and report on placement success, audience reach, and resulting brand awareness or lead generation
- Amplify executive appearances through social media, email, and other marketing channels to maximize impact
- Identify opportunities for Tempo to sponsor, co-host, or launch its own podcast or video series
Community Management & Engagement (15%)
- Own and actively manage Tempo's presence on the Community.Atlassian forum, responding to inquiries, fostering discussions, and positioning Tempo as a trusted thought leader
- Build and manage our Reddit strategy, engaging authentically with relevant subreddits to drive awareness and support community conversations
- Monitor community sentiment and feedback, translating insights into actionable recommendations for product and marketing teams
- Develop and execute community programs that drive user engagement, advocacy, and loyalty
PR & Influencer Relations (15%)
- Oversee public relations strategy and execution, building relationships with key industry journalists, analysts, and media outlets
