About the Role
Heidi is expanding across the DACH region and is hiring a Clinical Director to lead high-stakes engagement with ministries, health authorities, major hospital groups, academic institutions, and strategic partners.
This position is suited to one of two profiles:
1. A senior clinician or CMO-level leader with the commercial acumen, gravitas, and strategic capability to support system-wide transformation; or
2. An experienced healthcare executive with deep networks, strong enterprise relationships, and a demonstrated ability to navigate complex procurement pathways and multi-stakeholder environments.
The Clinical Director is a senior, externally facing role with full accountability for accessing enterprise deals, partnership development, and commercial outcomes. You will shape Heidi’s strategic approach, secure lighthouse health-system relationships, guide pilots through evaluation to scale, and provide executive sponsorship to local operators across the region.
You will operate with substantial autonomy and the full support of Heidi’s global leadership team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Market Leadership
- Shape Heidi’s regional strategy and market-entry approach in partnership with global leadership.
- Identify system-level opportunities, care-model transformation initiatives, and high-value partnerships.
2. Government, Health System & Enterprise Engagement
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships across ministries, regulators, health authorities, hospital networks, and clinical leadership.
- Convert strategic discussions into pilots, structured programs, and long-term adoption pathways.
3. Brand Ambassador and Clinical Thought Leadership
- Represent Heidi’s clinical, operational, and AI capabilities in senior forums.
- Guide the design of use cases, evaluation metrics, governance structures, and clinical integration models.
- Build a national presence for Heidi through writing, speaking, digital media, and participation in industry forums.
- Contribute to or author whitepapers, clinical explainers, long-form content, and national webinars.
4. Commercial Influence
- Secure high-impact hospital and health system partnerships with health systems and vendors that establish credibility and unlock scale.
- Support enterprise sales cycles as a credible national clinical leader.
- Join executive-level customer conversations to explain clinical value, workflow impact, and product differentiation.
- Provide case studies, clinical narratives, and national-specific evidence for GTM teams.
5. Executive Sponsorship & Team Enablement
- Partner with the Country GM, commercial leads, marketing, and global product leadership.
- Provide senior coverage alongside local operators in key events, meetings, evaluations, negotiations, and governance reviews.
- Mentor regional sales, partnerships, and implementation teams without displacing them.
6. Market Intelligence, Policy & Risk
- Surface insights on health system structure, procurement processes, clinical governance requirements, and AI policy shifts.
- Advise global leadership on regional risks, opportunities, and strategic inflection points.
7. Product Influence & Workflow Design
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to shape national workflow configurations, specialty adaptations, and user-need-driven prioritisation.
- Lead national-level structured feedback cycles, case reviews, and insight reporting.
- Translate clinical requirements into clear, actionable product specifications.
