The Role As a Database Administrator Expert, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and maintaining databases, ensuring their security, performance, and availability, as well as managing backups and recovery. You will join a dynamic team where you will also perform monitoring tasks, troubleshooting, system updates, and provide support to developers and users. Hybrid work model: 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. This role requires participation in 24x7 on-call rotations. Responsibilities Deploy new databases while applying security policies and best practices. Lead and support production environments, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and optimal performance. Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and accurately, providing root cause analysis, resolution, and continuous process improvement. Collaborate with Developers and Architects to implement configurations based on requirements. Create and maintain documentation for installations, changes, and upgrades. Train Junior Engineers on database administration and new implementations. Contribute to the improvement and optimization of services through documentation, scripts, and automation.
