Position Summary The Manager / Sr Manager, AI Engineer at CVS Health is a senior technical and people‑leadership role responsible for defining, building, and scaling enterprise AI and Machine Learning solutions aligned to CVS Health’s strategic business objectives. The role bridges business strategy and advanced AI engineering , providing architectural direction, delivery oversight, and leadership across cross‑functional teams including AI engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders. Required Qualifications Candidates for this role are expected to demonstrate the following core qualifications : 5–7+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, or data science, with proven delivery of production‑grade AI solutions . Strong hands‑on expertise in AI/ML concepts including: Machine learning and deep learning Natural Language Processing (NLP) Generative AI and large language models (LLMs) Model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring Proficiency in programming , with Python required; experience with Java, Scala, or R also expected. Experience designing and deploying scalable AI systems in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . MLOps and data pipeline experience , including model lifecycle management, CI/CD, monitoring, and reliability practices. Technical leadership experience , including mentoring engineers, guiding architecture decisions, and overseeing multiple concurrent AI initiatives.
