Project Quality Engineer

Job Description Summary The Project Quality Engineer will be responsible for executing supply chain project quality activities for GVH Advanced Nuclear projects. Job Description Essential Responsibilities: Assessing potential suppliers based on quality capabilities, production capacity, and compliance with company standards to qualify new vendors. Participating in on-site audits at supplier facilities to verify quality control processes, documentation, and compliance with regulations. Collaborating with suppliers to identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and reduce defects. Maintain detailed records of supplier quality performance, including non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans. Working proactively with purchasing teams, engineering departments, and other stakeholders to manage supplier quality concerns. Perform project execution activities for Advanced Nuclear projects focusing on quality control of the procurement activities. Work proactively with suppliers to define specific quality requirements, including development of inspection, verification, and qualification processes, in addition to tests and processes to assure products and services meet the GVH and customer quality requirements. Provide technical guidance to suppliers toward assuring product/process compliance with engineering drawings and specifications. Work proactively with suppliers to resolve quality concerns applying technical and quality expertise to deliver project quality requirements. Execute supplier quality surveillance program for supplier activities. Disposition of supplier non-conforming products Write and review technical quality documents, plans and procedures Support future error prevention through the use of the corrective action processes.
