Job Description Essential Responsibilities: As the Engineering Wind Technician UFS (Universal Fleet Solutions) β Travel (United States), you will: Work with Resource Managers, Site Leadership, and Engineering to execute contractual obligations per customer requirements which includes repairs to any portion of the electrical and mechanical equipment used in the GE Vernova wind turbine generators across North America. Help in all areas of job preparation. Assist in the creation of work instructions and standard work packages. Coordinate with Resource Managers on labor, tooling, and materials to execute jobs. Participate in pre-job meetings to discuss execution of work instructions, schedule, LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), hazard mitigation, and jobsite / customer requirements. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on wind turbines including perform diagnostic analysis. Perform maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts to correct wind turbine malfunctions. Mentor, teach, and provide OJT to junior wind technicians while troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical problems within wind turbines generators. Document all work performed using company provided technology. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, and Minimum of 6 yearsβ experience as a Senior Wind Technician ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work and communicate with a wide variety of personnel at all levels inside and outside of the wind site.
