Global Protect Communications Manager

YOUR POSITION WITH TNC This is a one-year term position with the opportunity to extend depending on program needs and budget. Candidates based in the United States, Latin America, Europe and the United Kingdom are preferred. The Global Protect Communications Manager will join a team of creative, mission-driven communications and marketing professionals within the Global Marketing and Communications team. The GMC team operates at the heart of The Nature Conservancy’s mission—supporting and leveraging global conservation work by providing focused communications strategies, top-tier media relations and promotions, and engaging content that targets select audiences with the power to change the future for people and nature. Embedded within the Global Protect Communications Team, the Communications Manager will develop and implement integrated communications plans to support and advance the strategic goals of the Protect program by building engagement, influencing conservation action, supporting fundraising, and raising awareness of goals with key audiences. The Communications Manager drives complex projects, partnering on communications strategy development and leading on implementation of a broad range of communications initiatives to advance innovative and large-scale global biodiversity conservation efforts to protect 30% of the planet. They will work directly with and under the direction of various leaders across global and regional teams. This position will report to the US-based Director of Communications for Global Protect.
