Position Summary : The National Audubon Society is seeking a Seasonal Biology Technician to support field-based research and conservation efforts in western North Carolina. This role is responsible for conducting standardized habitat and bird surveys to assess the impacts of Hurricane Helene on priority species and ecosystems. The technician will collect and manage field data using GPS and GIS tools, work both independently and collaboratively with staff, and contribute to science-driven conservation initiatives. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions, and a strong commitment to Audubon’s mission.
