Position Summary The Supply Chain Strategy and Project Management Office is reimagining CVS’s Supply Chain and Specialty Dispensing Environment to serve customers no matter where they are on their path to better health. The future of CVS’s Supply Chain will be simple, efficient and utilize the latest in automation. In order to execute transformation, investments of ~$140m annually will be allocated to build new and optimal infrastructure, systems and automation throughout the retail and specialty network. The Project Automation Engineer will play a key role in executing our transformation strategy. This role will support the delivery of automation projects including new distribution centers or fulfillment nodes and large infrastructure overhauls in brownfield locations. Success in this role will hinge on the individual’s ability to build healthy cross functional collaboration, communicate effectively, and apply strong organizational practices. In this role, the ideal candidate will: Designing Automation Systems: Develop innovative solutions for automating warehouse processes including material handling, sorting, picking, and packing utilizing technologies such as robotics, conveyor systems, pill picking, unit of use dispensing, labeling and goods to person systems.
