The Role As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will develop solutions, Support and maintain applications built on Micro Focus Cobol and Informix 4 GL. System Enhancement: Analyse and modify existing COBOL / Inforix 4GL programs to meet new business requirements, regulatory changes, and performance goals. Technical Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd level production support for critical business applications, performing root cause analysis, and implementing timely fixes. Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces to integrate COBOL/Informix 4GL applications with modern programming languages and third-party systems. Modernization: Participate in projects to re-host or re-platform legacy mainframe workloads to distributed or cloud environments .
