JOB SUMMARY
The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) is responsible for the technical success of our most critical AI implementations. You will bridge the gap between core AI infrastructure and the bespoke needs of the largest users. You are part software engineer, part architect, and part field-ops, tasked with ensuring AI capabilities solve real-world problems at scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation: Work with small teams to deploy and adapt AI solutions for specific clients or industries, ensuring the API fits their workflows.
- Architecture & Standards: Ensure final deployments follow internal standards for security, data privacy (PII masking), and LLM cost control.
- Tool Development: Identify repeated client requests and build internal libraries, SDKs, or tools to automate those tasks for the engineering team.
