WHO IS FLOCK?

Flock Safety is the leading safety technology platform, helping communities thrive by taking a proactive approach to crime prevention and security. Our hardware and software suite connects cities, law enforcement, businesses, schools, and neighborhoods in a nationwide public-private safety network. Trusted by over 5,000 communities, 4,500 law enforcement agencies, and 1,000 businesses, Flock delivers real-time intelligence while prioritizing privacy and responsible innovation.

We’re a high-performance, low-ego team driven by urgency, collaboration, and bold thinking. Working at Flock means tackling big challenges, moving fast, and continuously improving. It’s intense but deeply rewarding for those who want to make an impact.

With nearly $700M in venture funding and a $7.5B valuation, we’re scaling intentionally and seeking top talent to help build the impossible. If you value teamwork, ownership, and solving tough problems, Flock could be the place for you.

The Opportunity

The Flock engineering organization requires a Technical Program Manager to bridge the gap between all teams involved in technical support, from customer-facing support teams and engineering teams handling escalations to operations teams in the field. This position will be responsible for understanding and improving the quality of our deployments and the technical support of the fleet, including the monitoring and resulting actions being taken. The position will be tasked with identifying and tracking quarterly goals and weekly trends, driving priorities and resolutions of top issues, including establishing and maintaining an effective feedback loop to ensure issues are addressed at their root cause.

The Skillset

- Experience driving programs that require partnership across multiple functional teams, with a specific history of improving the quality of complex business solutions

- Ability to develop plans that are properly aligned with key stakeholders (including customer support teams, engineering, operations, and leadership) to ensure dependencies are fleshed out and project goals are clear

- Capable of identifying gaps and risks in technical projects and moving quickly to mitigate those issues. At Flock we take ownership and resolve problems, never assuming ā€˜someone else is going to take care of it’

- Ability to foster a great project environment with communication at its core - you will facilitate team meetings, keep the team on priority tasks, document assumptions and decisions, wrangle slack conversations, and anything else it takes to ensure consistent alignment and forward progress

- Have a background with technical solutions that provides the foundation for navigating our engineering environment with ease

- Have strong experience with project management software, including Salesforce and the Atlassian portfolio (Confluence and Jira primarily)

- Have proven experience introducing new solutions into a vertically integrated organization, including refining existing process or introducing new ones, implementing new tooling and related workflows, leveraging change management practices to successfully enable teams to adopt those changes

- Have proven ability to manage projects that must adapt with business needs and have ambiguous or evolving requirements.

Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box? That’s okay; we’ve felt that way too. Studies have shown women and minorities are less likely to apply unless they meet all qualifications. We encourage you to break the status quo and apply to roles that would make you excited to come to work every day.
