AI Agent & Automation Specialist

We are seeking an AI Agent & Automation Specialist to join our team in a role critical to our digital transformation. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated automation workflows, integrating AI-driven solutions, and ensuring seamless collaboration between our global departments. Part-time: 20 hours per week (can grow to more hours) Remote: Fully remote, CET working hours Engagement Type: Independent Contractor Monthly Rate: $800-1100 (based on a 20-hour workweek; flexible depending on experience) What You’ll Do Build and maintain advanced AI automation workflows using tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier. Connect systems and databases via REST APIs, webhooks, and custom connections. Apply AI technologies (LLMs, AI agents) to automate business processes (e.g., Customer Support agents, R&D feedback loops). Translate complex business requirements into reliable, structured, and fully documented workflows. Manage the transition from MVP builds to robust, production-ready solutions that align with global HQ standards. Proactively troubleshoot and continuously improve existing automation pipelines for efficiency and reliability. What We’re Looking For 3+ years in AI automation, technical integration, or a similar role. Proven hands-on experience building workflows and AI agents specifically using n8n and comparable platforms like Make.com. Experience building AI chatbots, including setting up and optimizing RAG-based knowledge bases for accurate performance. Strong experience working with APIs, webhooks, and databases. Deep familiarity with LLMs and the practicalities of integrating them into business workflows. Ability to document processes clearly so they can be managed and scaled across global teams.
