The Role Are you an innovative thinker who loves to solve complex problems? Are you excited about finding ways to bridge the gap between technology and business needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Architecture Lead. As an Architecture Lead with Kyndryl, you will build up a group‑wide architecture function from scratch and define the reference architecture and target‑state architecture principles for the consolidated client’s infrastructure. In this role, you will chair the architecture review board and arbitrate design decisions across solos, ensuring alignment between architecture, the data centre consolidation approach, and the sourcing strategy. You will own architecture governance, standards, and exception handling while delivering the group‑wide reference architecture and architecture function, and a comprehensive target architecture blueprint covering compute, storage, network, virtualization, and security zones. Your work will also include defining architecture principles and ADRs, creating a migration pattern catalogue (lift‑shift, re‑platform, retire, retain), providing solution architecture sign‑offs for each migration wave, and contributing to the development of business cases.
