As a COBOL Developer at Kyndryl, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining core banking systems in mainframe environments that support mission‑critical financial operations. In this role, you will work on legacy systems that process high‑volume transactions related to accounts, credits, payments, and financial movements. You will operate in highly regulated environments where precision, stability, and compliance are essential. Working closely with cross‑functional technical and business teams, your work will directly contribute to the reliability and continuity of critical banking services. Key Responsibilities Analyze functional and technical requirements to support core banking applications. Develop and maintain COBOL programs in batch and online mainframe environments. Manage and support data processing using DB2 and VSAM files. Optimize high‑volume transactional processes to ensure performance and stability. Provide production support, monitoring, and technical documentation for critical systems.
