Exempt Organization Tax Senior - Charlotte, NC (Remote) Who: A tax professional with experience serving tax-exempt organizations and a desire to grow in a collaborative environment. What: Prepare and review tax filings, support compliance and consulting projects, and help develop junior staff. When: Hiring immediately for a role that supports ongoing growth in the not-for-profit tax practice. Position Overview: The Not-for-Profit Tax Senior Associate will deliver compliance and consulting services that help tax-exempt organizations maintain their exempt status while mentoring staff and contributing to the team’s continued growth. Key Responsibilities: ● Provide tax compliance and consulting services to not-for-profit clients. ● Prepare and review Forms 990, 1120, and related filings for exempt organizations and their affiliates. ● Lead and mentor tax staff in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. ● Apply strong project management, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. ● Consult with market and firm leaders as needed. ● Build relationships by networking within the community and relevant industries. Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. ● Ability to obtain CPA licensure; active CPA preferred. ● 2+ years of public accounting experience. ● Experience serving tax-exempt organizations.
