What you’ll be doing

As a Financial Accountant (L.68/99), you’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the accounting department of Satispay Group through various tasks. You’ll be a part of our Accounting Team, responsible for all European endeavours. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

- Manage Day-to-Day Accounting Operations - Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and the general ledger to ensure smooth daily financial processes.

- Handle Payroll and Financial Data Management - Manage payroll processing, data management, capitalisation, and amortisation while maintaining accuracy of financial records.

- Oversee Capex and Asset Management - Manage capital expenditures and asset capitalisation, ensuring proper allocation and tracking.

- Ensure Accurate Bookkeeping - Verify the completeness and integrity of bookkeeping across all companies within the Group, promoting transparency.

- Manage Month-End and Year-End Closing - Oversee closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals to meet deadlines.

- Ensure Compliance with Tax Regulations - Maintain adherence to tax laws and company policies to ensure compliance.

- Assist with Financial Reporting and Analysis - Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring they are accurate and regulatory compliant.

- Enhance Financial Processes and Systems - Continuously work on improving financial processes and systems to boost efficiency and accuracy

Who we’re looking for

- Relevant experience - At least 2 years of experience in finance or corporate services, with a strong background in general ledger and accounting functions.

- Accounting knowledge - Solid knowledge of accounting principles (Italian GAAP and/or IFRS), ensuring accurate reporting and analysis.

- Proactive mindset - Ability to work effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments, meeting tight deadlines with precision.

- Organisational skills - Excellent organisational skills, capable of balancing teamwork with independent execution.

- Analytical Approach - Analytical and detail-oriented approach to solve financial challenges efficiently.

- Technical skills - Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Google Sheets or Excel), with the ability to create and manage complex formulas.

- ERP Expertise - Proven experience working with ERP systems (experience with SAP is a significant plus).

- Languages - Fluency in both Italian and English, ensuring effective communication with the international team.
