Japanese Bilingual IT Engineer

▶︎ Job Details ・ Job Title: IT Engineer (Professional Services) ・ Client: Japanese company ・ Working Location: Torrance, CA 90502 ・ Working Style: Onsite / Field Support ・ Employment Type: Full-time ・ Salary: 60-80K/ per year (DOE) ・ Benefit: Health Insurance and 401K Match ・ Language: English and Japanese ▶︎ Key Responsibilities Configure servers, PCs, networks, and telephony systems for clients Perform on-site installation of IT infrastructure (servers, network devices, telephony systems, etc.) Provide troubleshooting support both remotely and onsite Support system administration for servers, PCs, and network environments Document work records, installation details, and project activities Maintain troubleshooting logs and document solutions for future reference Report project status and issues to team leaders Conduct product research and analyze market trends Assist in preparing proposals and quotations for clients Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery ▶︎ Required Qualifications & Skills Hands-on experience with Server environments (Windows / Unix / Linux), Network devices (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto), Virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix, etc.) Knowledge of: LAN / WAN networking, IT security solutions for servers and endpoints Storage technologies Ability to perform onsite support and business travel as needed Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
