Lead, Strategic Operations role

We are looking for a talented Lead to join our Strategic Operations team, with a primary focus on maximizing the participation and adoption of Channels Plus by ensuring hotels are correctly set up, active across all available OTA channels, and leveraging promotional opportunities. As a senior member of our strategy and analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in driving enablement strategies that expand reach and drive incremental bookings.

In this role, you will work alongside the Strategy, Analytics, Operations, Lifecycle and Customer teams and use our rich data ecosystem and a world class Data stack to drive hotel activation, channel enablement, and feature adoption at scale.

What you have...

- Extensive experience in an analytical or operational role with focus on strategy, enablement, OTA partnerships, or business analytics (e.g., Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Strategic Project Manager, Program Manager).

- Bachelor's in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Hospitality Management)

- A self-starter with high energy and execution mindset who can run strategic projects at scale independently.

- Detail-oriented and critical thinker who loves data deep dives, first principles thinking about activation strategies, and managing multiple campaign projects to deliver strong results.

- Accustomed to delivering high-stake insights and presentation to C-suites.

- Bonus: Direct experience in hospitality, OTA partnerships, or hotel distribution technology

Technical skills

- SQL: Advanced SQL skills for extracting, manipulating, and interpreting setup and activation data (Snowflake or Databricks experience preferred)

- Data Visualization: Strong proficiency in creating activation and enablement dashboards using Tableau, Looker, or Power BI with ability to design views that track KPIs and campaign performance

- Excel/Google Sheets: Advanced skills in activation analysis, campaign planning, and data manipulation using functions (lookups, pivots, formatting, transformation, visualization)

- Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze enablement gaps, identify activation opportunities, and develop data-driven campaign strategies

What you will do...

- As a Lead, Strategic Operations you will work closely with Business VPs and Managers for Channels Plus, one of SiteMinder's key growth drivers. Here is how you will help:

- Drive Activation & Enablement Strategy: Leverage our extensive data to audit hotels' Channels Plus setup, identify enablement gaps and channel blocks, analyze hotels with low or zero bookings, and implement corrective actions that improve attachment rates and channel activation levels across our portfolio.

- Analytics & Campaign Lead: Act as the crucial link between Strategy, Product, Customer Success, and Onboarding teams, using creative data interpretation to design and run activation campaigns that onboard hotels onto new OTA channels, drive adoption of promotional features, and unlock long-tail bookings.

- Analytics Strategy & Reporting Oversight: Partner with business, product, and operations teams to define reporting requirements and prioritize the development of analytics artefacts that track activation KPIs such as hotel attachment rates, channel activation levels, feature adoption, and enablement campaign performance. Guide analysts in designing and maintaining dashboards using tools like Tableau, HighTouch, and Heap, ensuring insights effectively serve leadership and operational teams' decision-making needs.

- Data Advocacy & Education: Champion data-driven enablement decisions across the organization. Create guides and enablement resources that educate hotels on best practices for Channels Plus setup, collaborate with Customer Success to
