Job Title SEO Lead (US Market, SaaS & EdTech) – Learntastic Job Loaction: Remote About Learntastic Learntastic is a SaaS-enabled learning platform focused on professional and compliance-driven education. Organic growth is a critical acquisition channel, and SEO plays a strategic, revenue-impacting role in our US expansion. Role Overview We’re hiring an SEO Lead who owns organic growth end-to-end — strategy, execution, team leadership, vendor management, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and high-quality backlink acquisition. This role goes beyond traditional SEO. We want someone who understands how search is evolving across Google, AI answers, and knowledge-based discovery, and can build authority, not just rankings. Key Responsibilities SEO Strategy & Execution Own Learntastic’s SEO strategy for the US market Drive organic growth across: Course pages Category & hub pages Blogs, guides, and evergreen resources Focus on search intent, buyer readiness, and conversions Lead on-page, technical, and off-page SEO initiatives Build SEO roadmaps tied to business KPIs AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) Optimize content for AI-driven and answer-based search (Google SGE, featured snippets, FAQs, AI summaries) Structure content to win: Featured snippets “People Also Ask” AI-generated answers Work closely with content teams to create clear, authoritative, citation-worthy content Ensure Learntastic becomes a trusted source in its education/compliance domains Backlinking & Authority Building Own backlink strategy focused on quality, relevance, and authority Acquire links through: Digital PR Content partnerships Editorial placements Resource link building Evaluate backlinks based on business value, not vanity metrics Avoid spammy or risky link practices Track link performance and impact on rankings and conversions Team Management Lead and mentor internal SEO team members Set priorities, review output, and maintain quality standards Build scalable SEO processes, documentation, and workflows Vendor & Agency Management Manage external SEO agencies, backlink vendors, and content partners Brief vendors clearly with goals, guidelines, and success metrics Evaluate vendor ROI and decide what to outsource vs keep in-house Ensure timelines, quality, and compliance are met Reporting & Optimization Track performance using GSC, GA, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and related tools Translate data into insights and action plans Report clearly to leadership with a focus on outcomes, not just metrics Required Experience & Skills Proven experience as an SEO Lead / SEO Manager for US-market SaaS, EdTech, or B2B platforms Strong team management and vendor management experience Demonstrated success with: AEO / answer-based search optimization Backlink strategy and authority building Deep understanding of: US search behavior SaaS & EdTech funnels Content-led SEO growth Hands-on experience with technical and on-page SEO Strategic mindset with strong execution capability Nice to Have Experience in compliance, certification, or professional education domains CRO or funnel optimization experience Experience scaling SEO teams and multi-vendor setups This is a remote opportunity
