The Role As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world. You will manage and support mainframe environments using ISPF, TSO utilities, JCL, Control‑M (BMC), DB2 tables, and dataset handling, ensuring reliable batch and online processing. In parallel, the role supports distributed systems across Unix and Windows platforms, including administration of WebSphere JVMs, Citrix environments, messaging middleware (MQ), and virtualized infrastructures using VMware ESX. The professional is also responsible for the implementation, management, and operational support of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 environments. As a technical leader, the B6P contributes to problem resolution, operational excellence, and service continuity, while mentoring peers and collaborating with global teams. Strong communication skills and fluent English are essential to effectively engage with stakeholders, vendors, and international partners.
