Our client is a fintech SaaS company providing a purpose-built platform for consumer lending. Their technology enables lenders to manage the full loan lifecycle, from origination through servicing and collections, through a sophisticated white-label infrastructure designed for scalability and operational efficiency.

Fully-Remote (Latin America) | 9 AM – 5 PM EST

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Mid-Level Software Engineer will take ownership of features from initial ticket through production deployment while working across a full-stack fintech platform. This role involves building borrower-facing workflows, payment-related functionality, and scalable API services while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering workflows and delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

FEATURE OWNERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT

- Own features from initial ticket through deployment, ensuring all acceptance criteria are met

- Build and maintain functionality related to payments, borrower workflows, and tenant configuration

- Work across the full stack to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions

DATABASE & API MANAGEMENT

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries using PostgreSQL 16

- Build, maintain, and scale RESTful APIs within a multi-tenant SaaS architecture

- Ensure strong data integrity, system reliability, and application performance

CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE & INTEGRATIONS

- Utilize AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda to support platform infrastructure

- Support third-party integrations such as Twilio and payment processing systems

- Help maintain scalable and reliable cloud-based services
