The Role At Kyndryl we are project-based subject matter experts in all things infrastructure – good at providing analysis, documenting and diagramming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally “figuring it out.” This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients. As the Fabric Administrator you will manage MS Fabric tenant-level governance and operations, including capacity, workspace administration, security, data governance controls, monitoring, CI/CD enablement, and overall platform reliability for analytics teams. Key responsibilities Configure Fabric tenant settings, feature toggles, and admin portal controls. Manage Fabric capacity (F SKU / capacity units), including workload management, throttling controls, and cost/performance optimization; plan scaling strategy. Define and enforce workspace strategy (domain/team-based), naming standards, and access controls. Apply governance policies for workspace creation, external sharing, publishing, and content promotion. Administer role-based access across workspaces and core Fabric items (Lakehouses, Warehouses, Semantic Models) using least-privilege principles. Implement identity governance using Microsoft Entra ID groups; manage segmentation and controls to reduce data exfiltration risk.
