The team works collaboratively both internally and externally with a global team of partner organizations and suppliers to successfully deliver Nuclear New Plant Projects for GVH. Job Description Essential Responsibilities As the Plant Equipment Design Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for large equipment associated with the Reactor Vessel, such as FMCRD, HCU and Large Valves. Provide technical and managerial leadership for the development of the team’s technical and leadership talent/depth Oversee team performance, including hiring, training, mentoring and performance evaluations Plan, organize and manage the delivery of technical activities/tasks in support of engineering deliverables which include large equipment design and qualification Use high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering Provide leadership supporting performance and program management of assigned work and ensure on-time fulfillment of engineering commitments in accordance with contract requirements, business procedures, industry standards and regulatory agency guidelines Establish and maintain strong working relationship with other internal engineering team managers, business leaders, project managers and stakeholders Interface with external partners, customers, the NRC or other applicable country specific regulatory agency, as required on technical issues Provide guidance and manage internal/external resources to...
