Requisition Job Description Principal, Data Science, Analytics & Reporting Underwriting Transformation Program Position Summary At CVS Health, we are transforming underwriting through modern, scalable software platforms powered by advanced data science, analytics, and reporting. The Principal, Data Science, Analytics & Reporting will lead data science, analytics, and enterprise reporting capabilities embedded within a large‑scale underwriting transformation program. This role enables data‑driven decision‑making across product, accurate forecasting for drug pricing and P&L, underwriting, and supporting executive leadership by delivering causal insights, forecasting, scenario modeling, and outcome‑focused metrics. This leader operates at the intersection of product strategy, advanced analytics, and stakeholder alignment , ensuring insights are scalable, actionable, and directly tied to underwriting performance and financial outcomes. Key Responsibilities Product‑Embedded Data Science & Analytics Leadership Lead the data science and analytics strategy for underwriting transformation software products, from problem framing through production deployment. Design and operationalize causal, predictive, and scenario‑based analytical capabilities supporting underwriting, pricing, and risk decisions. Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to embed analytics and reporting into core product workflows.
