The Role Kyndryl Technical Project Managers oversee the delivery of major infrastructure and cloud programs, unblocking teams at the technical level and ensuring the solution is robust, secure, observable, and scalable. You’ll orchestrate multi-practice teams (Cloud, Automation/Data & AI, Networking, Security, Digital Workplace, Core Infra/Mainframe) to deliver measurable business value. You will still excel at plan/build/run cadence and financial stewardship—but your differentiation is your ability to dive deep with architects and engineers, challenge designs, understand failure modes, and turn complex technical risks into executable mitigation plans. What you’ll do · Own end-to-end technical delivery: plan, execute, and control scope, budget, schedule, and quality across complex programs and workstreams. · Drive architecture & design alignment: lead or participate in HLD/LLD reviews, design authorities, ADRs, threat modeling, and readiness checks; ensure designs follow best practices (e.g., AWS Well-Architected, Azure CAF, Google Architecture Framework). · Manage non-functional requirements: define and track SLAs/SLOs/SLIs, capacity/performance, resilience, backup/DR, observability, and security-by-design controls. · Guide technical execution: coordinate epics/stories with engineering (Agile/Scrum/SAFe), manage environments and release plans (CI/CD), and ensure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation are used where practical. · Mitigate te...
