As part of the construction department, the M&E estimator & contracting specialist is responsible for the preparation of estimates for the construction site setup and electromechanical works in HV substation projects during the tender phase. The role is responsible for the technical and organizational aspect of RFQs with the potential site subcontractors. Within the tender team, the role analyses customer specification on general site and installation topics, checks data received from engineering for coherence on installation aspects, and estimates the means required for the site setup & M&E works to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost & Delay targets defined by the tender leader. Reports to the GSI Construction lead and participate to the functionβs objectives. Job Description Responsibilities During Tendering / ITO (Inquiry to Order): Prepare detailed schedules and contribute to their integration into the overall project schedule. Prepare tender documents, including the technical and organizational scope of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for subcontracted works. Lead technical and organizational discussions with selected subcontractors. Actively participate in tendering activities and cross functional teams (planning, HAZID, etc.). Participate in meetings with customers within the assigned scope of responsibility. Ensure effective handover from ITO to OTR (Order to Remittance) within the assigned scope. Contribute to the management of the M&E supplier panel, including qualification processes and site visits. During Execution / OTR: Prepare the technical and organizational scope of RFQs for subcontracted works, upon request of site managers. Lead interactions with selected subcontractors during the execution phase. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Participate in Hazard Identification (HAZID) meetings.
