Position Summary The Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering leads a .NET and SQL-focused engineering team (12–15 colleagues), emphasizing operational excellence, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement for on-premise applications. This leader is responsible for application stability, performance, and the end user experience, modeling CVS Health’s core values and Heart At Work Behaviors™. The Senior Manager will drive technical and people leadership, foster a culture of ownership and collaboration, and serve as a key partner to senior business leaders, ensuring technology outcomes are aligned with business needs and customer value. The Senior Manager will champion the use of modern tools, including emerging AI technologies, to accelerate operational problem-solving and enhance documentation and knowledge transfer for legacy applications.
