As our Senior Revenue Accountant, you'll play a critical role in both the accuracy of our financials and the evolution of our accounting operations. You’ll own some of the most complex and high-judgment areas of our close, like revenue reconciliations, revenue reporting, and commission deferrals and accruals, while also reviewing lower-risk areas such as cash payout postings to ensure completeness and accuracy.

But that’s just part of the job.

Beyond close, you’ll help identify inefficiencies, build automation, and implement scalable processes that support our next phase of growth. You'll work cross-functionally with FP&A, Engineering, Billing Operations, Deal Desk and Business Systems teams, helping to bridge accounting rigor with operational excellence.

What you’ll do as a Senior Revenue Accountant at Vanta:

- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for various accounting areas including but not limited to:

- Commission accruals and deferrals - prepare the accrual, capitalization and amortization of commissions and other contract costs.

- Revenue contract review - ensure the accurate review and documentation of non-standard contract language.
