As a Senior Software Engineer on the Activation team, you’ll own some of the most critical and complex problems in Virta’s growth funnel—how we guide members from initial signup to their first meaningful health outcomes. This is a high-impact, high-leverage space where small improvements to conversion, speed, or engagement can unlock massive business and clinical outcomes. You’ll design and build systems that reduce friction in enrollment, and empower the next evolution in our scale.

This role is uniquely interesting because it sits at the intersection of product, operations, and applied AI—combining experimentation, real-time decisioning, and LLM-powered development workflows to rapidly ship and iterate on experiences that directly impact our members’ lives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Own and deliver complex, ambiguous projects across the enrollment and early member journey, from problem definition through execution and iteration

- Design and evolve scalable backend systems that power enrollment workflows, reduce time-to-enroll, and enable operational automation
