Job Description Summary he US Licensing, Regulatory Affairs Technical Lead is an engineering discipline that supports the successful execution of all BWRX-300 related projects to ensure that design initiatives meet the associated regulatory requirements, considering both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the applicantโ€™s or end-userโ€™s needs. The discipline is responsible for developing, reviewing and approving timely and accurate regulatory submittals in accordance with regulatory guidance and best industry practices, from concept to production to operation, while managing a group of Licensing Engineers within the functional area of licensing focusing on the technical aspects of licensing the BWRX-300 design and customer support for Safety Analysis Report development. The ideal candidate for this position must be comfortable and capable of working at times with minimal supervision, requiring high levels of engineering judgement. Must be knowledgeable in NRC Part 50 and 52 processes. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities The U.S. Licensing Technical Leader, Regulatory Affairs, will report to the U.S. Licensing Manager, and will provide work management and technical leadership for a team of Licensing Engineers for the following activities: Development of work plans and ensuring schedule adherence for all licensing deliverables while maintaining a high standard of quality. Adherence to all applicable procedures and to project-specific work plans and instructions. Identify and originate Condition Reports to drive continuous improvements as necessary. Process documents in the Product Lifecycle Management tool including uploading quality records and supporting documentation and creating change actions with assigned reviewers and approvals.
