About the Role: As a Snowflake Platform Engineer, you will be a key member of the Data Platform Operations team, providing critical ETL operational support while specializing in Snowflake platform management. You will work alongside operations engineers to ensure the reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency of our data infrastructure, with deep focus on Snowflake administration, governance, and optimization. What You’ll Do: Serve as the Snowflake subject matter expert within the Data Platform Operations team, providing specialized expertise for platform architecture, administration, and optimization. Monitor, triage, and resolve production ETL/ELT pipeline incidents and alerts, with emphasis on Snowflake-related issues including query performance, warehouse contention, and data loading failures. Manage Snowflake access controls, role-based security, and data governance policies to ensure compliance with security and privacy requirements.
