Job Summary As a Software Engineer, you will be a vital member of our delivery team, focusing on building and maintaining scalable backend services that facilitate the seamless exchange of healthcare data. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to develop modern, distributed microservices that integrate with Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) and utilize interoperability standards like FHIR and HL7. Your work directly impacts our ability to provide value-based care by ensuring clinical data is accurate and accessible at the point of care. Responsibilities Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Kotlin/Java. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ingest and transform complex clinical data. Implement unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality, reliability, and security. Use GitHub for version control, participating in peer code reviews to learn and share knowledge. Support the automation of software workflows using modern CI/CD and SecDevOps practices. Required Qualifications Foundational understanding of building high-performance, distributed systems running in the cloud (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS). Professional experience or significant project work using Kotlin or Java. Experience using version control (e.g., GitHub) for collaborative development. A growth mindset and a desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
