Position Summary This position is responsible for supporting the Oak Street Health forecasting and reserving processes. Primary responsibilities will entail understanding methodologies and models in order to create month end close and forecast documents. Collaboration with key business partners in actuarial and finance to support business needs. Work with actuarial departments to implement new or updated reserving and forecasting strategies. Conduct ad-hoc analysis using SQL for our business partners to understand financial drivers. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze complex problems, have strong communication skills, can help explain actuarial concepts, at a high level, to non-actuaries, such as finance and business leaders and the ability to analyze and solve complex problems. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 3+ years relevant work experience in actuarial or related fields ASA or Near ASA Knowledge of SQL is a plus Strong technical, analytical and communication skills Works well with a team Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of health insurance reserving and forecasting methodology Experience with computer programming or advanced VBA knowledge Education Bachelor’s or higher degree required Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $79,310.00 - $158,620.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
