TC28 - Lead Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Front-End Engineer to drive the UI strategy and implementation for high-scale web products. You will focus on building world-class digital experiences using modern frameworks, with a heavy emphasis on Sanity.io as a headless CMS. You are a hands-on leader who bridges the gap between design systems and scalable code. Responsibilities Lead UI Implementation: Drive the development of high-fidelity designs, animations, and business logic using TypeScript, React, and Next.js. Sanity Integration: Architect front-end schemas and integrate Sanity content models to ensure a seamless authoring experience and high-performance delivery. Design Systems: Build and maintain flexible, scalable Design Systems following Atomic Design principles using Storybook. Technical Mentorship: Act as a hands-on coach for UI engineers, ensuring code quality, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA+), and performance. Collaboration: Work closely with Design and Product teams to ensure technical feasibility and pixel-perfect execution. Must have Expert Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern styling (Tailwind, MUI, CSS Modules). Headless CMS Mastery: Extensive experience with Sanity.io (including GROQ/GraphQL) and migration experience from legacy platforms like WordPress or AEM. Architecture: Solid understanding of state management (Zustand, Redux, or XState) and front-end testing frameworks. Leadership: Proven experience leading geographically dispersed teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
