Job Description Summary The North America EHS Leader for Wind provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) across all The North America EHS Leader for Wind leads a team of Environmental, Health, and Safety specialist to own the strategy and execution across field-based Operations, Maintenance & Upgrades (OM&U) activities throughout the North America region. As a key partner to the North America OM&U organization, this role champions a proactive safety culture that prioritizes employee well-being, compliance, and operational excellence. The leader provides direction to a geographically dispersed EHS field team, establishing clear roles, standard work, and development plans that strengthen collaboration, accountability, and team capability. In close partnership with operations leaders, frontline teams, customers, and contractors, this role drives consistent EHS expectations, supports customer engagement, and helps resolve complex operational and customer-facing issues. Using data, leading indicators, and field insights, the leader identifies trends, assesses risk, and drives continuous improvement in safety performance across the region as they work to operationalize the Life Saving Rules. The role also oversees key elements of compliance and risk management, including incident investigations, corrective actions, and audit programs for wind farms and high-risk work while partnering closely with the Wind EHS Center of Excellence team. This is a high-impact leadership position that strengthens EHS performance, supports regional growth priorities, and builds customer confidence across North America.
