Latin American Regenerative Ranching and Agriculture Capacity Building & Learning Specialist

Location: Argentina, Colombia, or Perú Contract type : One‑year fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of renewal. What We Can Achieve Together: The R2A Capacity Building & Learning Specialist is part of the Regenerative Ranching and Agriculture (R2A) Strategy team and serves as a technical integrator, translating locally identified needs into coherent capacity‑strengthening and knowledge‑sharing processes. The role coordinates the design and implementation of the capacity building plan, supports training activities, workshops, and learning spaces strengthening to promote regenerative productive systems that align conservation outcomes with sustainable production goals, ensuring that capacity‑building approaches are accessible, inclusive, and responsive to diverse social, cultural, and territorial contexts. It also cultivates partnerships with academic and technical institutions to strengthen regional learning ecosystems and contributes to the regional community of Regeneradores by helping design and facilitate knowledge‑exchange initiatives. The position holds primary responsibility in the prioritized Iconic Landscape in Latinoamerica, including Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, and Paraguay, and provides strategic, as-needed support to initiatives in Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, and Brazil, facilitating cross-country learning, adaptation of approaches to local contexts, and the connection of country portfolios with regional and global regenerative agriculture and conservation efforts. S/he will lead the design, coordination and implementation of capacity-strengthening processes across the region, ensuring alignment with the R2A Strategy and the Future Landscapes Program.
