We have an exciting opportunity to join the SIU team as a Senior Field Security Investigator! As a SIU Field Investigator, you will conduct investigations of suspected cases of fraud or other illegal activities against the Company, including interviewing, database inquiries, taking statements, and locating sources of information and witnesses. Responsibilities include evaluating information to determine its credibility, referring, and coordinating investigation assignments to outside agencies, and providing training and support to all departments in the claims handling process. MUST BE LOCATED IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma 3+ Years claims adjusting experience, or P&C SIU/Fraud Investigation experience or 4 years prior investigative law enforcement (including military) or relevant fraud industry investigation experience Experience handling in-person or phone statements from various parties in an investigation in a way that builds GEICO’s customer base and promotes customer satisfaction through efficient, accurate, and courteous interactions Ability to gather a broad range of evidence related to an investigation and draw conclusions based on the information collected to the applicable fraud investigation Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize heavy claim volume workloads and stressful situations Must be able to always maintain a professional...
