The Field Service Engineer – Drives-Performs a wide range of commissioning and Service tasks and ensures proper installation, service and commissioning of products and services. Provides technical support for installation and commissioning of projects and provides maintenance, breakdown emergency support and remote troubleshooting for the GE LV and MV drives. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: As Field Service Engineer - Drives and EMS, you will: Perform troubleshooting activities at customer site locations to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implements corrective actions Develop requisite documentation to execute work e.g. commissioning procedures, maintenance procedures daily logs etc. Perform installation and commissioning activities at customer site locations of GE Drives Perform installation and commissioning activities at customer site locations of GE EMS System Execute on site project management and technical leader duties to resolve customer issues and provide customer satisfaction Under the direction of a senior engineer performs a wide range of technical tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of GE drive systems Develop presentations and provides training and instruction to customers on drive operations Coordinate additional opportunities to serve the customer with the customer service team, parts, other FSE’s, repair services, sales, and product engineering teams Advise the customer of recommended upgrades, parts, and service op...
