Our client is a leading Hollywood-backed, character-driven entertainment company behind one of the largest independent comic and anime universes, with thousands of characters and decades of storytelling across publishing, film, games, and digital media. As the company expands into new formats and platforms, they are building scalable AI-assisted production pipelines that combine cinematic storytelling with emerging creative technologies to bring stories to life through animation and modern video workflows.

Fully remote | 9 AM . 5 PM EST

ROLE OVERVIEW

The AI Filmmaker Team Lead will lead the creation of AI-assisted cinematic video content while helping scale modern production workflows across multiple projects and shows. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, filmmaking, animation, and emerging AI-powered creative technologies.

In the early stages, the AI Filmmaker Team Lead will operate as an individual contributor, owning the production process from prompting and AI generation through editing and final assembly. Over time, this role will evolve into a leadership position overseeing AI “generators,” managing production workflows, and ensuring consistent creative quality across multiple outputs.

The ideal candidate is a filmmaker first, someone with strong cinematic storytelling instincts who understands scenes, pacing, shot composition, camera movement, lens choices, and emotional continuity, while also being highly proficient with AI-assisted creative workflows.
