We are looking for a very experienced COBOL Mainframe Developer with Application Architecture knowledge to join our Application Managed Services team. In this role, you will collaborate directly with a state agency to maintain and enhance its online Unemployment software and modernize its Disability Insurance software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe technologies and experience in designing, developing and maintaining COBOL applications integrating with front-end server-based applications. Experience in collaborating with state agencies on software projects is preferred, as well as prior experience with projects focusing on mainframe application modernization. This role will involve analyzing requirements, analyzing inter-application dependencies, architectural design of solutions, and implementing code while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
