JOB DESCRIPTION Big Ten Network is seeking a Broadcast Television Engineer/Multi-Camera Insert Control Room (MICR) Engineer for the Midwest territory to join the team. The MICR Engineer will be responsbile for traveling to Big Ten Network sporting events in the assigned territory on a regular basis. The MICR Engineer will be responsible for connecting, quality control, troubleshooting, and repairing broadcast television equipment, including cameras, switchers, video servers, audio, and graphics equipment. You will also conduct routing and restorative maintenance of electronics and electrical systems. If you have solid working knowledge of electronic and electrical systems and knowledge of FCC rules, we are looking for you! This is a remote role, but the Big Ten Network will require the candidate to be based in Michigan. Candidates must have the ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including weekends and holidays.
