Job Description Summary The Offshore Wind EHS Leader is a critical role within GE Vernova’s global Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) function and part of the EHS Leadership Team, overseeing a team of EHS professionals, both employees and contractors, dispersed throughout the United States and Europe. This position's primary responsibilities involve supporting the EHS needs of our Customer Project Execution and Services business, offering guidance and consultation on all aspects of EHS pertaining to the transportation, construction, commissioning, and servicing of offshore wind turbines to achieve safe and compliant operations. Job Description Responsibilities Provide active EHS leadership, guidance and mentoring for the project and operations team Lead a team of EHS professionals who are working at different sites Establish and communicate EHS targets and determine related KPIs for the project Overall responsible for incident management, regulatory compliance, and GE Vernova Wind EHS requirements Actively participate and coordinate hazard identification and risk management processes Ensure contractor safety management program execution Identify and inspect hazards and define corrective measures for their elimination Prepare proposals for improving safety standards and observance thereof Drive and support positive project stakeholder relationships Identify and deliver the implementation of EHS objectives Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Occupational HSE (or related field) Extensive senior‑level HSE leadership experience within offshore wind is required. Background in other segments of the wind energy industry or in oil&gas will be considered when supported by relevant exposure to offshore operations. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) preferred Demonstrated ability to lead teams/projects/programs.
