ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Team Lead, you are responsible for managing, coaching, and mentoring a team of digital designers to drive operational excellence through KPI and metric management. A key part of your leadership is cultivating a team environment that reflects the Dandy Drivers which are the foundation of how we work, grow, and succeed at Dandy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
MANAGING & COACHING
- Lead a team of 10–15 digital designers.
- Oversee Focus Area scheduling, shifts, training, and time off (PTO & STO).
- Monitor individual quality and performance through regular audits.
- Continuously Performance Manage & Coach designers through 1:1s and feedback sessions to drive improvement.
- Establish and track development plans for all unscheduled designers.
- Identify when support is needed and leverage internal resources.
- Understand designer career goals and document growth plans.
METRICS
- Understand the business metrics Dandy uses to evaluate the design workforce for both quality and UPD. Be able to articulate how each team member is performing against these metrics.
- Collaborate with leadership to set quality and throughput targets, and ensure your team meets them.
- Ensure your team is aligned with systems and processes, escalating major issues so the broader system can be updated & adjusted as needed.
