TEAM

Blitz is a gaming platform launched by Voodoo in 2021, allowing players to compete on mobile games for real cash prizes (head-up, tournaments, leagues, etc.). It is leveraging Voodoo's unique game portfolio to engage users in a fun and rewarding way.

ROLE

We are looking for a talented VFX & 2D Animator to join the Blitz team, our real-money gaming platform. You are passionate about bringing games to life through fluid animations, impactful visual effects, and polished motion design. You have a sharp eye for timing, feel, and detail, and you take pride in delivering top-notch visual quality that elevates the player experience. You will be a key creative contributor, working closely with a small, fast-moving team of Unity developers to craft the visual identity and feel of our games.

- Create and animate 2D game assets including characters, UI elements, and environment components, with a strong focus on quality and consistency

- Design and implement VFX (particle systems, screen effects, juice effects) that add impact and excitement to gameplay moments

- Collaborate closely with our 2 Game Artists & 3 Unity developers to integrate your work directly into the game engine and solve technical challenges together

- Provide and analyze art references for new games and features; create mockups and style explorations to guide the visual direction

- Iterate rapidly on animations and effects based on playtesting feedback and team input
