We're looking for a Shopify UI/UX Engineer to take full ownership of the storefront for a fast-growing DTC nutrition brand co-founded by a high-profile media personality. This is not a scoped ticket role. You will be the single in-house owner of the entire storefront, replacing an agency and becoming the sole point of contact for everything from new page builds and interactive widgets to app configuration and bug fixes. You will write Liquid templates, build custom sections, create JavaScript-powered interactive tools, manage the app ecosystem, and make design decisions independently, all while keeping the site fast, accessible, and on-brand. You need real design taste, not just implementation skills. If you need pixel-perfect Figma specs for every component or in-person oversight to ship, this role is not the right fit. Claude Code is the primary development tool for this role. Comfort using AI-assisted development is required, not optional.
