Lead Solution Engineer - Financial Services

Role Overview The Lead Solution Engineer plays a pivotal role in aligning innovative strategies to technology solutions within complex accounts across the Financial Services vertical (including banking, insurance, wealth management, capital markets, and lending). As a dynamic blend of business consultant and technologist, you will act as the "front door for IT," navigating deeper technical waters to help customers connect with their clients in new ways. Through collaboration with the customer, internal business stakeholders like Account Executives, Solution Engineering peers, Product Management, Product Marketing, and more, you will develop thoughtful solutions and interact with the entire customer lifecycle. You will guide deal strategy by providing deep insight into the technical and business buyers, acting as a trusted advisor who drives innovation and improves business performance. Key Responsibilities A Solution Engineer plays a pivotal role in aligning innovative strategies to technology solutions within complex accounts. This role focuses on partnering with clients and collaborating with internal team members to drive consensus on multi-product technology solutions across the various Salesforce product lines. Solutions Engineers work on a wide array of assignments including business development, operations and IT strategies, as well as product demonstrations. This person must assume the role of trusted advisor for driving innovative solutions forward while also improving business performance. Business Problem Solving & Solutioning: Take ambiguous and sophisticated business problems, define the opportunity set, and recommend practical next steps. You will discover customer business needs, analyze requirements, and ultimately position the best Salesforce multi-product solutions.
